About Naval Kindergarten, Colaba

Naval Kindergarten had a humble beginning with 70 students in a temporary hutment at Old Navy Nagar in 1954. The LKG wing of the building was commissioned on 03 Feb 1973 and the school functioned in 2 shifts to accommodate over 1700 students. The UKG Wing was commissioned in 2002 and the school started functioning in a single shift with 60 classrooms & activity rooms. The new Naval Kindergarten building inaugurated on 28 Oct 2022, has been passionately designed to offer our kindergarteners a stimulating and vibrant learning environment. The facility houses child friendly Libraries, Activity centres, an Indoor play arena, a Traffic Park, Audio- Visual rooms
